Wedding under the shade of Lenin

Soviet era monuments in the centre of Tiraspol are the most popular spots for wedding photo sessions among wedding couples. Every weekend tens of young couples queue in the center of Tiraspol under WWII monument, Transdniester war monument and Russian-Afghan war monument to have a wedding photo session. Transdniester is a narrow strip of land sandwiched between Ukraine and Moldova broke away from the Soviet Union just before USSR collapsed, officialy it is part of Moldova but after bloody civil war in 1990 it proclaimed independence.  Its self proclaimed independence is not recognized by any country in the world. Presently Transdniester is a living museum of life in USSR. It is also well known as a hotbed for international organized crime.
